In the nineteenth century, a morbid and curious custom has spread to various parts of the world: the photos were Post Mortem.
Post Mortem comes from Latin, meaning after death.

The photos Post Mortem apparently originated in England, when Queen Victoria asked to photograph the corpse of an acquaintance or a relative, so she can keep as a souvenir.
soon after, this idea spread around the world, keeping a morbid reminder of loved ones that have passed on.

Even today, as strange as it may seem, some places still have this custom

The girl who is standing in the photo is the one who is dead. This is a classic example of photographic art. Notice the hands.

For people wondering how the corpse is standing up, there is a posing stand supporting the body it’s very hard to see but the stand is supporting the neck, arms and back.

It’s all true…

(Recently declassified USAF documents detail “Project 1794”, an attempt by the Air Force to build a flying saucer with a top speed of Mach 4 and a range of 4,000 nautical miles)

The Dyatlov Pass incident is the most unsolved Russian crime of 1959 that was left unsolved, when nine hikers went hiking and were found dead atop the mountain Kholat Syakh meaning Mountain of the Dead. They were found with crushed skulls, missing tongues, missing clothes, and their tents ripped apart. Many conspiracies have been led to believe that the incident was Alien related since radioactivity was found then, but that’s one persons theory. But most scientist think they died of hypothermia and no supernatural activity. Still is strange way to die…

On 23 May 1964, Jim Templeton, a firefighter from Carlisle, Cumberland(now part of Cumbria), took three photographs of his five-year-old daughter while on a day trip to Burgh Marsh. Templeton said the only other people on the marshes that day were a couple of old ladies sitting in a car at the far end of the marsh. In a letter to the Daily Mail in 2002, Templeton stated, “I took three pictures of my daughter Elizabeth in a similar pose – and was shocked when the middle picture came back from Kodak displaying what looks like a spaceman in the background. Templeton insists that he did not see the figure until after his photographs were developed, and analysts at Kodak confirmed that the photograph was genuine.

Roger Patterson

Robert “‘Bob” Gimlin

were riding generally northeast (upstream) on horseback along the east bank of Bluff Creek. At sometime between 1:15 and 1:40 PM, they “came to an overturned tree with a large root system at a turn in the creek, almost as high as a room.” When they rounded it, “there was a logjam—a ‘crow’s nest’—left over from the flood of ’64,” and then they spotted the figure behind it nearly simultaneously. It was either “crouching beside the creek to their left” or “standing” there, on the opposite bank. Gimlin later described himself as in a mild state of shock after first seeing the figure. Patterson

had estimate the creature to about seven and one-half feet.

The film shows what Patterson and Gimlin claimed was a large, hairy, bipedal, apelike figure with short, “black hair”

covering it’s body.

The figure in the Patterson–Gimlin film generally matches the descriptions of Bigfoot

and remains one of the most compelling videos of Bigfoot to this very day. (VIA YouTube / Wiki)

Liliane Fatima Silva, her sister Valquiria and Katia Andrade Xavier – the girls point to the spot where they saw the “terrifying creature”. In 1996 in Varginha, Brazil, during the course of several weeks at least two and perhaps as many as six alien creatures were captured or killed and turned over to American authorities, and a UFO may have crashed. Eyewitnesses described the creatures as humanoid and 3 to 4 feet tall. They had dark brown, hairless skin, big triangular heads with three short “horns” on top, and huge red eyes that were vertically oval.
